A trip down memory lane.
1970s
Our business launched in Ireland in 1977 as a family-owned cleaning contractor.
Delivering great service to a diverse range of customers was the business model.
1980s and 1990s
Growing quickly, our young business developed a nationwide footprint in Ireland and began to make ground in sectors such as education, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and corporate office space.
In 1989, we became an accredited British Institute of Cleaning Science (BIC) training company.
In the 1990s, we entered new sectors, e.g. the technology sector, as new multinationals began to establish footprints in Ireland. We also launched a new service line – Janitorial Services.
2000s
We launched our Security Services division in 2001 and entered the UK market in 2003. We made two important acquisitions: a cleaning business in Great Britain and a security business in Ireland.
At the end of the decade, we were a market leader in security and cleaning services in Ireland and a challenger in the UK.
2010s
We continued to enter new customer sectors. We also made a number of acquisitions which gave us a very strong platform in Great Britain and increased our leadership in Ireland. In 2017, we joined the Bidvest family of companies and in 2019 we rebranded to Bidvest Noonan.
2020s
We have a plan to continue diversifying our service offering in Ireland and consolidating our national footprint in Great Britain. In 2021, Axis Group and Cordant Services joined us. In 2023, Robinsons & Swords Security joined us.
